SEREMBAN: Two groups of college students armed with baseballs bats, iron rods and sticks almost clashed with each other before police stepped in and calmed the situation on Wednesday night.

It is learnt that a group of 20 to 30 local students from the college in Mantin, unhappy over foreigners dating local girls, had assaulted three African students over the issue.

One of the Africans suffered a broken arm while two others received outpatient treatment.

SEREMBAN 29 Mei – Hampir 100 pelajar sebuah kolej swasta dan penduduk sekitar kolej berkenaan di Mantin bergaduh dalam kejadian yang berpunca daripada rasa tidak puas hati berikutan hubungan pelajar Afrika dengan wanita Melayu di situ.

Ketua Polis Negeri Sembilan, Datuk Osman Salleh berkata, kejadian yang berlaku pada pukul 9.30 malam tadi itu berjaya dileraikan kira-kira 2.30 pagi ini.

Menurutnya, insiden itu dianggap sebagai rusuhan dan mengganggu ketenteraman awam.

“I have a case here. We students of legenda college mantin batch of 2000/2001, which graduated on 2004 had applied PTPTN study loan through this college and got approved. We loan more than the study fees needed. So , we have extra money after deducting all the fees. The money go to the college in batch b4 to us students. Within this 4 years of studies, college often delay the paying time. Obviously that the college used our money to make their bussiness ‘turn over’. N yet v could do nothing as we r just students….we din know wat to do.. when come to the graduate time, the college promised to refund the balance of few K to us within half year. We graduated on may 2004, now is mid of 2005, yet we din ……… “

This post is just to let people know where is the location of BUTL. As I know some apartment owner actually never been to the campus before, especially those stay in Singapore.
